Cantante y compositora chilena, reconocida como una de las grandes intérpretes del mundo hispanohablante. Su propuesta artística se caracteriza por una fusión poderosa entre el folclore latinoamericano y el jazz, que ha marcado profundamente la escena musical de la región. Ha publicado 13 álbumes, tres de los cuales fueron galardonados con el prestigioso Premio Altazor: Pasaje de ida y vuelta, Lonquén – Tributo a Víctor Jara y Arrullos – Canciones de Cuna Latinoamericanas, este último en colaboración con el músico argentino Carlos Aguirre.
