Gardel, editado en vinilo y en formato digital, es el más reciente álbum de Hernán Jacinto Trío, Incluye siete temas del repertorio de Carlos Gardel, trabajados desde la fina mirada jazzística de Jacinto, a través de sus arreglos, su virtuosismo interpretativo en el piano y sobre todo la energía y libertad expresiva en su interacción con los músicos en el desarrollo de cada una de las piezas.
El disco escapa a la típica mirada clásica del género para este tipo de propuestas. Por el contrario, aborda cada uno de los temas del trabajo, con un lenguaje más bien contemporáneo, sin perder de vista nunca el espíritu de cada obra del “Zorzal Criollo”.

Hernán Jacinto Trío, presents GARDEL, winner of the Gardel Award for Best Jazz Album 2025 Gardel, released on vinyl and in digital format, is the most recent album by Hernán Jacinto Trío, recorded and presented with the line-up that will take him to Europe in 2026: Flavio Romero on double bass and Fernando Moreno on drums. It includes seven songs from Carlos Gardel’s repertoire, worked from Jacinto’s fine jazz gaze, through his arrangements, his interpretive virtuosity on the piano and above all the energy and expressive freedom in his interaction with the musicians in the development of each of the pieces. The album escapes the typical classic look of the genre for this type of proposals. On the contrary, he addresses each of the themes of the work, with a rather contemporary language, without ever losing sight of the spirit of each work of the “Zorzal Criollo”.
