Uno de los grupos más prestigiosos del jazz argentino. Fundado por el baterista Daniel “Pipi” Piazzolla, nieto del legendario Astor Piazzolla. El sexteto ha construido una identidad única, fusionando jazz, tango, folclore y música contemporánea con una libertad creativa admirable.
Escalandrum ha recorrido más de veinte países, grabado en el mítico Estudio 2 de Abbey Road y compartido escenario con figuras de renombre internacional. Su discografía, que incluye obras como Piazzolla plays Piazzolla, Las cuatro estaciones porteñas y 3001 – Proyecto Piazzolla (junto a Elena Roger), refleja una búsqueda constante por expandir los límites del género sin perder el arraigo con la tradición argentina.
